DocsOps
DocsOps is a self-hosted open-source platform for internal organisational knowledge.
It is meant to help when an organisation is unclear about which knowledge state counts and who is responsible for creating and releasing it.
DocsOps follows three principles. Binding state: There is a knowledge state people can rely on. Responsibility: It is clear who may create and who may release. Mirror of the organisation: The organisation’s structure is reflected in the software, so visibility and access follow the hierarchy.
The project grew out of my thinking on knowledge management. The website describes the model in more detail. Anyone who wants to try DocsOps or look at the source code will find the demo and repository in the links below.
