DocsOps
DocsOps is a self-hosted open-source platform for internal organisational knowledge.
The project grows from the same aim that drives my work on knowledge management: knowledge should not have to be created from scratch over and over again. It should be transparent and accessible where it is needed, not only in individual heads and chat threads.
Many tools optimise a shared store and open collaboration. DocsOps builds governance into the software. Organisations already have structure and responsibility in day-to-day work; the system carries both. Roles define who works on the draft and who releases a binding state. Readers rely on the published edition.
Development is already well advanced. Right now the public landing page and a live test version are taking shape.
