Filingo

Filingo is a digital Russian vocabulary trainer. At its centre is spaced repetition: vocabulary is practised with cards, and reviews follow progress so far. Alongside that sits a dictionary with forms, translations, and audio, so practice and look-up share the same material.

The idea grew from my own experience as a student. Suitable material for Russian was scattered across many sources and tedious to gather. What was missing was a coherent system and a path toward completeness. That is what Filingo aims for: preparing learning material systematically and as completely as possible.

The first version was called Bajkal. Conception began in 2021, and it went online in 2024. In 2025 I discontinued Bajkal because I decided on a reconception and fundamental overhaul under the name Filingo. Filingo has been in production since 2025 and is under active development.
